Youth Exchanges Canada
This is a group reciprocal home-stay exchange program. It is intended for 4-H'ers ages 11 to 19 who would like to experience Canada. Groups of 10 participants plus chaperone(s) are twinned with groups the same age from another province or territory and take turns staying in each other's homes. On Prince Edward Island, this exchange program is offered at a District level, that is, a district applies to Canadian 4-H Council to participate. PEI is guaranteed at least one youth exchange trip per year. The Exchange Travel takes place between June and September. Application forms for this exchange are available form the PEI 4-H office in the fall and must be completed and returned to the Canadian 4-H Council by January.
National 4-H Skills (...and thrills) Conferences
Participants will explore how to identify, acquire, expand and market key skills that are valuable to gaining employment. Through interactive learning, delegates will identify and enhance the skills necessary to be successful in current and future job markets.
