The Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee is a non-profit interfaith agency through which twelve judicatories collaborate to address the social issues affecting the quality of life in the greater Milwaukee area. The Conference enables the religious community, including non-member faith groups, to work together in upholding “the dignity of every person and the solidarity of the human community,” as our mission statement calls on us to do. We are directed by a Cabinet of representatives from each of our twelve member judicatories. These twelve judicatories (or denominations) have among them approximately 500 congregations in the Milwaukee area.

The Interfaith Conference also provides and creates opportunities for people from different backgrounds to dialogue, build relationships, increase understanding, and work together to create a stronger community. Everyone has a place at our table. Working together through an inter-religious organization such as the Conference does not mean that people from different faith traditions must water-down their beliefs or otherwise compromise who they are as people of faith. Quite the contrary. We invite everyone to wok with us, fully representing who they are and what they believe.
