The Vision of the Live for Tomorrow Movement is a place where there are no abortions, maternal/infant deaths, HIV/AIDS, communal conflicts, gender inequality and violence against women and children.
To create a world where:
*It is a woman's* basic human right to achieve optimal health throughout pregnancy and childbirth for themselves and their newborns.
*Women/youths are empowered to demand respectful, quality safe motherhood services and help other women to do the same.
*Women and newborns have access to essential and life saving safe motherhood services and information.
*Women and men are active members in the safe motherhood movement, are knowledgeable, and make decisions together that promote safe motherhood within their own families and their communities. (WRA)

Live for Tomorrow Movement has worked in the past three years improving youth and family life education. Visting remote communities in the riverine areas of Rivers State to tell them about HIV/AIDS, the effects of teenage unwanted pregnancy and unsafe abortions which has contributed to a significant proportion of maternal deaths world wide. With the help of the White Ribbon Alliance Global Scretariat in Washington, USA, the organisation has made remarkable achievements in sharing DANGER SIGNS OF CHILBIRTH and THE BIRTH PREPAREDNESS AND COMPLICATION READINESS MATRIX. This has helped many communities in their safe motherhood initiatives. The organisation also advocates for male/youths involvement in safe motherhood, which the Executive Director, Tonte Ibraye described as '' gender partnership for success''. LFTM is the publisher of “Adolescent Insight”, a publication intended as a forum for women and adolescents to learn from peoples’ experience, share resources and ideas, and promote popular education about women’s health in rural and urban areas.
