Strides Society aims to provide workable solutions to the problem of youth unemployment. We believe that providing skills and opportunities for earning is the most basic aspect of economic empowerment. In practice, we develop enterprise schemes and training courses for young women and men. Strides uses an integrated development approach because we believe this produces better results. Using this approach, we work with partner organisations, the private sector, civil society, youth structures and young people themselves.
Our goal is to equip young people with the skills and tools they need, so they can take control of their own lives and create their own moneymaking options. This will help to reduce poverty and raise living standards.Opportunities for poor young people to generate income and acquire new skills and to participate in socio-economic activities.
