Hope Foundation (HF) is a non-profit developmental and non- governmental organisation based in Buea, Cameroon. HF was founded by a group of young committed community leaders in the year 2001, with the primary goal of promoting development thereby improving the standards of living of the rural communities in Cameroon.

Hope Foundation is involved in developmental and humanitarian activities in several fields especially education, health, water and sanitation, human rights, environment, women empowerment, ICT and assisting discriminated and disadvantaged community groups (disabled people, street children and orphans etc).

-Provide basic education and training opportunities to children and youths of local areas,by building schools and classrooms, supporting with scholarships, books and uniforms.

-Empowerment of vulnerable individuals and youths to make a livelihood on a sustainable basis by offering them an opportunity for personal development through increased access to educational and vocational training.

-Help in the alleviation of unemployment and poverty by encouraging local and young people to be involved in various training activities enabling them consider entrepreneurship as a career option.

-Support orphans, disabled people and street children with food, clothing, education, health and shelter.

-To promote food security and modern agriculture in rural areas by supporting initiatives in gardening, animal husbandary and poultry.

-Create awareness and sensitisation campaigns in rural centers on primary health care, family planning, immunisation and vaccination, HIV/AIDS/STD, sanitation, and sex education.

-Initiate, organise and implement human rights programmes and workshops that would go to promote and protect the rights of man in rural areas, enhance community leadership and heighten their sense of civic responsibility.

-Organise volunteer and workcamps programs where local and international individuals and groups can join hands and skills with the local population to foster developmental activities
