The Jordan Interfaith Action C.C. Hosted many Euro-Med Projects, starting with a Contact Making Seminar on Art & Religion, and how to use Art as a tool for Interfaith Dialogue, 21 Organization coming from 15 different countries toke part in that CMS, to come out with three main projects under Action 1.
Youth & Art, a Youth exchange with participants coming from Denmark, France, Palestine, and Jordan, 48 of youth gathered for more than a week to work on Music, Theater, and Drawing, to express their needs and understanding of peace and diversity.
Youth as a Catalyst for better Culture and Tradition Awareness, a Contact Making Seminar brought over 48 participants coming from 31 different organizations, representing 16 Euro-Med countries, worked on finding ways of cooperation and understanding within the Euro-Med Youth Program.
With focus more on Euro-Med projects our Organization early 2005 worked on better cultural understanding. in January 2005 we hosted a Seminar under the title Once Upon a Time in Euro-Med "Hercules meets Sindibad" a Seminar based on traditional and sacred stories, to work on gathering these stories and using them for better cultural understanding.
The Jordan Interfaith Action CC. hosted the Regional URI- Middle East and North Africa Conference in the year 2003 under the title "The Other in My Tradition" with Participation of 45 participants coming from 10 different countries from the region, representing the three Abrahamic traditions, Islam, Christianity & Judaism.
This year 2004 the Jordan Interfaith Action CC. hosted the Conference for the 2nd time under the theme "Revelation" were 32 participants representing, Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey, Israel, UK, and Jordan.
The idea of these kinds of meetings on a regional level to promote the idea that Religion is not the problem in the Middle East but it can be the solution.
Also to build bridges of cooperation and understanding between people from the region, to create a generation believes in non-violence and peace actions
