Millennium Volunteers is a Government-funded initiative for young people. As an MV you volunteer your time to help others, doing something you enjoy. In short, use what you're into to help yourself and others.

Trevor Nelson and Nick Hancock are just some of celebs that promote MV and make visits to local projects.
There are over 50 leading employers who endorse MV and are fully aware of what it means to have 'MV on your CV'.
There have been 27,000 Millennium Volunteers on the scheme since 1999 and there are 20,000 current volunteers, with 4,598 gaining Awards of Excellence (for completing 200 hours of volunteering).
58% of Millennium Volunteers have never volunteered before.
7% of Millennium Volunteers have a disability. The scheme aims to be open to all 16 - 24 year olds.
