CRIPART supports HIV/AIDS prevention work in schools and communities. Much of our work focuses on training children and young people to educate each other on HIV/AIDS. We also help to tackle public prejudice, which can deepen the problems facing children affected by HIV/AIDS. We support moves to increase the provision of cheaper drugs in poorer countries to treat people with HIV/AIDS.
We provide emergency aid in the form of food, clothing, shelter to children and women during emergency crisis.
We work to ensure that all children get access to good quality education by tackling poverty, helping communities run schools, training teachers, developing education policies and curricula, supporting flexible learning schemes, developing educational opportunities for very young children, and providing education for children caught up in emergencies
We work with health providers, governments, other non-governmental organisations, communities and children to improve access to affordable, good quality health services. We also train rural health workers and help in building rural health facilities.
We partner with other organisations to fight child trafficking, child labour and child abuse, we organise seminars to help enlighten the public on the need to protect children.
