We are a small group of people trying to inspire change by celebrating all the good in our world. Everyday we see news that lists the death toll in Iraq, the starvation in Africa, and failure after failure of our established international systems. Locally we also have seen an increase in fear-based news stories. We want to change the way the world works by rewarding those who provoke positive change and also inspiring others.
ThingsAreGood.com was started not to be an ‘alternative’ organization. We exist merely to bring your attention to news that benefits people. Negative news is always easy to find, so we aim to make positive news easy to find. Don’t stop reading those other news sources, just remeber not to get bogged down by them.
This site is always evolving and we don’t even know what form the site will eventually take. We are experimenting right now - and will continue to do so - and would like you to help us out.
