A World where young people are free from the shackles of drugs and alcohol abuse and addiction and they are given the opportunity to realise their potentials. Blue Cross Kenya believs that freedom from drugs and alcohol abuse and addiction is the inherent right of every young person.

Blue Cross Kenya works with and for young people who are either affected by drugs or are at risk. To this end Blue Cross Kenya works with young people in schools and colleges to promote abstinence from drugs and alcohol. The organisation also works with young people living and working on the streets to empower them and facilitate their rehabilitation.
Blue Cross Kenya works with young people with very limited opportunities who live in the slums and therefore are at great risk of resorting to either abuse of drugs or peddling of drugs.
We employ the power of drama, music and sports to promote greater involvement of young people in the projects.

Blue Cross Kenya Youth Programmes is a youth led initiative and works for the young people. There are greater opportunities for young people. Our volunteers are young people who plan, fundraise for and implement projects for young people. We believe in nurturing youth leadership to provide role models that other young people at risk need.
We also have opportunities for other young people undertaking similar projects to join with us and help us learn and replicate best practice. We have had internatinal volunteers from the US, UK, France and Germany coming to experience with us the challenges of youth development in the dispensation of drug and alcohol abuse.
