Ekonomistler Platformu intends to state the problems of dynamic structure of Turkish economy and to provide solutions by establishing a strong and trustworthy medium to be used as a reference in designating policy measures. Since the Platformu has been founded on July 2000, it has been aimed to present wise and unique points of view to all problems caused by having no wide vision to bring solutions, which is also felt among the majority of Turkish political and economic administration even today.

The organization believes that in order to achieve the ultimate objective stated above, there is a need of continuous tracking and evaluating economic matters, which can be achieved only through a dynamic, youth- and solution-oriented Platformu, where experts’ know-how is harmonized with the young brains’ knowledge and synergy.

Ekonomistler Platformu believes that Turkey should change her story in all aspects with a vision looking from the future to now. Turkey should examine and change her media, political & economic structure and all actors to become ready for the future.
Platform’s main philosophy is;
 To provide alternative, knowledge based solutions to economic, social and political issues through qualified participants
 To work for making Turkey a participant of modern world and global competition holding its own dynamics, historical background and perceptions
 To struggle against the challenges for Turkey’s future by not excluding the geographical region it has been placed on
Main principles are focused on being open minded, claiming a knowledge based insight, adopting not only individual but also universal standards, encouraging initiative and being financially and politically independent.

Platform has a coordination team in Istanbul. It is composed of mostly experts from related fields like economics, business administration, political science and international relations. members are working in private and/or public sector, students with economics, business administration, political science and international relations majors or graduates of Economics and Business Administration. Applicants who want to be as a coordination team member are interviewed and then accepted as a team member according to their adaptability, productivity and acceptance. With the decentralized organizational structure, there is also strict discipline about attending meetings and team work. Internships and educational programs are provided to coordination team members.

The Platform, states that it has Intellectual Experience in Economic Policies, Global Values, democracy accountability, decentralization and transparency. Their operations are not only in Istanbul, but also in Anatolia and Middle East.
