Denas Research and Consultancy (DRC) is a development-consulting firm registered with the Tigray Region Bureau of Trade and Industry under the Ethiopian Commercial Code of 1960. building organization. Founded in October 2007, DRC is engaged in the preparation of Project Proposals; Project Reviews, Evaluations and Impact Assessments; Assessments and Analysis of Socio-economic Surveys; SME Development (Entrepreneurship); Institutional Development of Self-help Groups; Mentorship of Institutions and Businesses; Preparation of training programs for capacity building and poverty alleviation; Translation of Manuals and Documents and Development of Training Manuals
DRC’s clients consist of government bodies at the national, regional, and municipal levels, non-governmental organizations, private sector organizations, and individual firms. DRC works with its client organizations to help them understand and solve problems through research, training and consultancy. It conducts program evaluations and assessments working closely with the stakeholders to better understand all aspects of the key issues, to provide insights and to provide guidance for resolving issues, and help the organization to achieve its goals more effectively. DRC conducts formal quantitative and qualitative evaluations, including scientifically based research, to meet stakeholders and funders' specifications. It also offers its expertise in developing and administering surveys and studies.

We go very far to ensure all our consultancy contracts are done up to clients expectations and within the agreed time frame. In order to meet this high quality expectation we select our staff with utmost care. We carefully analyze our consultants’ qualifications and experience as well as their personality for teamwork.
Our consultants are assigned in areas where they have prior experience and where they have demonstrated competence in the past. The team composition is also closely analyzed to ascertain the team possesses the required technical competence and team spirit.
