Planned Parenthood Ottawa offers education, counselling and referral services to assist people in making informed sexual and reproductive health choices. We are a pro-choice, supportive, GLBTTQ-positive, youth-positive organization promoting healthy sexuality. Our focus is on contraception, sex education, sexually transmitted infections, puberty, healthy relationships, fertility, pregnancy options, menopause, HIV/AIDS, sexual orientation and on offering teaching and parenting resources.

Since 1982, Planned Parenthood Ottawa theatre troupes have been performing educational theatre for young people in the community. This program is by, for and about youth. Every year a group of young people from the ages of 14 to 19 face the challenge of creating, directing and acting in their own show, and presenting it to their peers.The incredible youth who participate in this program use humour and drama to tackle tough issues such as relationships, decision-making, sexual orientation and safer sex. We also offer a Peer Education program, in which youth participate in a speaker's bureau, facilitating discussions and educating other high school students about topics related to sexual health, including HIV/AIDS and safer sex.
