Emerging Leaders Manitoba (ELM) is a team of Manitoba youth (ages 15-29) with diverse academic and employment backgrounds seeking to address youth-related issues in community development.
ELM is the result of a partnership between the National Rural Youth Network and Emerging Leaders national in the province of Manitoba. The National Rural Youth Network’s purpose is to be a voice for Rural Youth in Canada. The focus of Emerging Leaders is to be a national resource for youth within the Canadian Community Economic Development Network and a resource for local community economic development work. ELM is the result of the partnership of these two organizations, and is unique to Manitoba.
