Mission/Vision
CAHTSEC (Coalition Against Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation of Children) in Nigeria is a non-profit organization working in Nigeria and West African region - preventing and combating of human trafficking in children and women, child slavery, child slavery and sexual violence since 1998.

CAHTSEC works for prevention of human trafficking and their exploitation and discrimination within the country and the West African region. CAHTSEC facilitates advocacy, creates awareness and social mobilization, provides technical support, initiates research and programme support activities at the grassroots, sub-national, national and regional levels to resist inhuman and heinous offences like human trafficking, child slavery and sexual exploitative of women and children.
It also works for capacity building among government organizations, NGOs, and CBOs, establish contacts and facilitates networking and linkage among individuals as well as organizations concerned in the issues of human trafficking child slavery and sexual exploitation of women and children.
CAHTSEC works in conjunction with some local NGOs and CBOs at grassroots level willing to work in the same issue through dialogue, exchange meetings, border campaign, training/workshops, rallies and rehabilitation of victims and prosecution of offenders. Moreover, through seminars and workshops CAHTSEC is working to sensitize and mobilize the policy makers of the country. CAHTSEC is developing a range of network within the region with the Nigerian Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Labour, local community leaders, NGOs and local CBOs.
